Unstuck
Rayma Johnson | Australia 2005 | 8 min
Unstuck is the story of a young Aboriginal woman who, after more than a year, has yet to come to terms with the death of her husband (also Aboriginal).
The woman has a recurring flash backs to the moments in her life after her husbands passing. One night her husband’s spirit comes to her, hoping to help heal the wounds of separation and move on in her life, just as he needs to move on in with his journey into the afterlife.
His spirit guides her subconscious mind, allowing her to reconnect with her own spirit, and as the two spirits reconnect, it becomes clear that the woman will have to choose between remaining stuck in life with her grief, or to become Unstuck.
